My nickname is Raven and my real name is only known by my closest friends on the internet. I am the owner of the little domain, Eternal-flight.net also known as the soaring sky network. I am a University Student currently studying BSc Multimedia in Swansea Metropolitan University and aspires to one day become a webdesigner. From a young age, I have always loved webdesigning, working with computers even computer programming and over the years, I have won numerous awards for my skills with Computers. I am not the most academic of people although I try my very best and always make sure I do all of my work.

In some ways, I am a little bit lazy. If I don't want to do something, I won't do it unless I'm really forced to therefore I can be stubborn at times. I am a sort of tomboy in the sense that I do not like going shopping, making my hair pretty, talking about boys all the time, or anything stereotypically girly. Most of all, I do not fret about how I look or even care about shoes like so many girls do. To me, I have always thought that personality is more important than the way we look.

My life is far from harsh but I cannot say that it has been neither easy nor kind. At one stage, I was very optimistic, energetic and friendly however over the years, I have lost faith in some people and have become increasing shy. Only recently have I started to regain my confidence thanks to my best friends and friends. At the beginning of my Secondary school life, I was bullied on several occasions but still managed to look on the bright side of life and always strived to try my best. I still try to look on the bright side whenever something bad happens but sometimes its not as easy. I am very good at sensing other peoples emotions however I tend to hide my own feelings away from others.

To put it simply, I adore nature and the environment. I love bird watching and observing nature around me no matter what the weather is like or what season it is. Nature is something so beautiful and yet it can be ignored so easily because of our fast and busy lives. There are plenty of benefits living between a busy city and the countryside especially when it comes to nature. Occasionally, I like to take photos of plants, animals and the nature around me even if I am rubbish at photography. Bird watching is just one of my hobbies and my father first got me into bird watching by showing me the various birds around us and ever since, I have been fascinated by the beautiful birds. My favourite bird family would have to be both the crow family and the falcon family especially the raven and the peregrine falcon since they are so graceful and beautiful. Sunsets, sunrises and the moon are to me, truly breathtaking and as I live on a hill, I am able to see some of the most beautiful sunsets, sunrises and occasionally the full moon when its not cloudy. I do not like hot or cold weather and I prefer it to be warm but not boiling hot or freezing cold.

I am not the most sociable of people although as my best friends know, as soon as I know a person well, I can be very optimistic and cheery instead of being shy. I also have a tendency of giving people high fives and generally smiling a little too much when I'm happy. According to my best friend in University, when I get drunk (which is very rarely) I have a tendency of high fiving people a lot. I try my best to make everyone happy and I treat everyone equally and care for each and everyone person. I am apparently kind although I feel that at times I am not as, if you do get on my bad side, I probably won't talk to you for ages. I am a very secretive person and therefore, I do not tell people my biggest secrets and like to keep my thoughts and feelings to myself.

In my free time, I tend to either be on the computer, sticking my nose in a book, out with my friends, volunteering or working. Nowadays due to University, I seem to have less and less free time as I used to and probably spend the majority of my time working on assignments. During my free time I also find time to play on an online game by the name of 'Perfect World International.' At one stage, I would get bored of the game at times and I have taken numerous breaks over the last year but I have still managed to get my Venomancer, wolferaven, to level 70 + and I enjoy helping out friends and meeting new friends on the game as well. I adore comedy and love watching comedians live such as Russell Howard and Dara O' Briain. Also Music has and always be a vital part of my life. I've always loved listening to music from classical to rock and my favourite band is Feeder. I tend to change my favourite song every so often although 'Morning Life' by Feeder has been my favourite song for quite a while and I love it! I am a huge fan of the most recent series of Doctor who and I completely and utterly adore David Tennant who is an excellent actor. I really don't like watching soaps although Drama's and comedy programs are my favourites and some of my favourite TV series are 'Merlin', 'Robin Hood', 'Demons', 'Doctor who', 'Green Wing', 'Mock the week' and the list goes on. I also enjoy playing on games such as 'Grand theft auto San Andreas' and 'Tomb Raider' games as well as playing on various Nintendo DS, Xbox and PS2 games.

So what about my future? I'm not too sure what the future holds for me but I want to pursue my dream of becoming a web designer and hopefully work with computers. I have already completed my goal of getting into University however afterwards I would like to get a job and would like to get married sometime in the future but I am still unsure if I'll ever find the right person for me. I would love to have a family one day and hopefully get a good enough job or at least a job that I enjoy.
