After arriving at this page, I had better introduce myself. I am known on the Internet as Raven and I am the owner of one little domain by the name of Eternal-flight.net. I was born on the 28th April 1991 in a little town in Wales, which borders a large town. I am a high school student and I try my hardest since I am not the brightest in the world even if I did have good GCSE grades. I am an atheist although I respect other people’s religion. My true aim is to go to university and I wish to work with computers whether it be webdesign or anything else. And No, I am not a computer geek, I just have a lot of intellect in my little brain about computers. I am a tomboy which means that I hang around with boys but I also tend to hang around with girls as well. I do not like going shopping especially for clothes, making my hair look pretty or anything stereotypically girly. I believe that your personality is more important than the way you look.

I am an outdoor person. Even though I spend most of my time inside when it’s sunny, I tend to enjoy bird watching and observing nature around me. Living between a busy city and the countryside has some benefits when coming to wildlife. I derived my own nickname from my favourite bird although all birds are just stunning. If you’ve ever seen the fastest bird in the world, the peregrine falcon, you will understand what I mean. Sunsets and sunrises are truly breathtaking and I completely adore them. The Moon is something that is more breathtaking than anything. The Full Moon’s glow over the bay is truly stunning and I spend countless nights when there are no clouds, staring at the moon. As I mentioned earlier, I don’t like the hot and sunny weather. I am not a vampire or anything like that although I have pale skin that doesn’t tan and I am a very strange person when it comes to weather. I don’t like it when it’s hot or cold but just in between.
I cannot say that my life is too harsh as I have seen friends and people that have had a worse time than I have. I am a very shy person after a depression I endured 3 years ago. I lost complete trust in people due to a reason that I would rather not explain but I’ll stop ranting about that because it’s boring and I don’t like telling people too much about my personal life. Only recently have I started to regain my confidence thanks to the two best friends. I have been bullied on several occasions when I was in secondary school, yet I still looked on the bright side and never gave up. Even after something bad happens, somehow I will remain determined and will not lose faith. I am very good at sensing emotions although I tend to hide my feelings and emotions the best I can especially when it comes to crying.

As my best friends know, as soon as I know a person well, I can be very optimistic and cheery instead of being shy. I also have a tendency of giving people high fives and making up new words like ‘Snomie’ which is a combination of ‘Snow’ and ‘Homie’. It might seem strange but it seems to be a habit within my little group of friends. Even if you are my closest friend, there are some things that you can never find out and trust me, I am not mentioning them here. I am apparently kind even though I feel like I am not although if you get on the bad side, I won’t talk to you for ages or I will hold a grudge although I am not able to keep a grudge for long. The longest grudge I have kept was around 3 years. My kindness is also reflected in my passion to look after the world we live in. I am currently a volunteer for the RSPB and try my best to help out in conservation. I once thought that I could pursue a career in conservation although I find that I am more of a computer person that anything else.

My free time is limited now as I find I just don’t have much time any more although when I do have a tiny bit of free time, I am either on the computer, sticking my nose in a book or out with my friends. I love history. I visit the museum whenever I can and every time I learn more about the history of Wales and natural history. Even though I adore history, I decided to stop studying it after year 11 mainly because I wanted to learn more about history than writing essays upon essays about what one picture tells you about history. I occasionally go out to watch comedians live mainly Russell Howard but I have seen other comedians before. Unfortunately I have never gone to a music gig even though I adore music from Feeder to Within temptation. Music has been a part of my life since I was so little and without it, I wouldn’t be able to keep my sanity. One of my favourite songs is ‘Morning Life’ by Feeder. The music and the lyrics are awesome even though after listening to it a million times, I still can’t understand what the meaning of the song is. If I’m not listening to music, on the computer, reading or with my friends, I am most liking watching TV, DVD’s or playing on a game. I do not have any particular favourite genre of TV programmes although I do not like Soaps. I am a fan of Doctor who because of the incredibly awesome David Tennant who plays the doctor. When it comes to games, my range is very limited. I adore all of the GTA games and I will play only a few games such as Pokemon diamond on my Nintendo DS.

I think I have pretty much covered everything of the young Raven although I still have my future. Throughout my life, I have always thought about what I wanted to become when I grow up but my first step is to go to university. Even though that means most of my money is gone, I still wish to go there in order to pursue something along the lines of computers whether it is web design or networking. I wish to get married in the future and have a child at least but that is only a wish and I still have to find the ‘one’.
